A new start for the Mark III Xtra at Sun N' Fun 2008  The New Kolb Aircraft has unveiled for the first time its latest wing model for the M3X. The new wing incorporates push-pull cables to control the ailerons, flaps and wing tips. The aircraft was flown during the show case at Sun N' Fun by our friend John Hauck. With its new wings, the M3X stalls clean at 35 mph and with 45 degrees it stalls at 26 mph. Picture #1 , Picture #2 Congratulation to Steve Boetto & Bryan Melborn. Their ultralight Flirefly won the Grand Champion Award at Sun'N Fun 2008!  Steve and Bryan were the first to install aluminum floats on a Firefly. Since then, their excellent workmanship has attracted a lot of interest in the ultralight community. The judging results can be seen here .
